Picnic in Sedona

After some shopping on a beautiful day in Sedona, we finally found a great park for our picnic. Our daughter loved playing, crawling and yes, even walking some on the grass.

As you can probably tell from our daughter's expression, she had a great time on her first hike. We used this "hipster" carrier that gave her (and me) lot's of freedom to move, the wind kicked up a little bit, so we covered her in my jacket, which was perfect because about 3/4 of the way on the hike, she decided to take a nap and seriously crashed like we've never seen her do before.

Camping for spring break!

So, for spring break, we decided it was time to take our little girl for her first camping experience! We went to Flagstaff and Sedona, Arizona and had a great time. There really are several things we learned from this trip . . .

1. Kamping Kabins from K.O.A. are really the way to go when you have young children.

2. Apparently, even on a Wednesday afternoon you can get stuck in some DAM serious traffic! Thanks Hoover Dam for adding an additional 90 minutes to our trip home.

3. When it's late at night and you have to go to the bathroom, you really have to be resourceful (Just ask Rochelle!).

4. Our daughter loves the Cracker Barrel (as do her parents), but does NOT like grits!

5. When our little girl needs a nap, she'll take a nap. Even if it's in the middle of a hiking trip. (see the other pictures we've posted)

I won't dance!!!!

Our daughter really does love dancing, and when this little Mickey Mouse doll plays music, she just starts to rock back and forth in the cutest way, UNLESS she's being filmed. Maybe she's just camera shy??? Here she is at 10 months old!
