Family Reunion: San Francisco

In June, we went to No. California for a family reunion.  The first big adventure was to San Francisco where we saw a whole lot and enjoyed probably the sunniest and most beautiful day we've ever experienced there. We went to Golden Gate Park, saw the Golden Gate bridge (from a great new lookout area), and made a quick stop at Fisherman's Wharf.  Of course we had to pay the toll to get over the Bay Bridge, but one of my highlights was that we spent a grand total of 75 cents in parking for the entire day.  Not bad!

Family pictures with Grandma

It was only 105 degrees outside when we got together for our family pictures, so you can understand why the picture of the kids with Grandma turned out the way it did.  Luckily, most of the other pictures turned out great!

Fathers' Day at Grandpa's!

Everyone had a great Fathers' Day spending it with Grandpa and family.  The kids especially loved the tree house that Grandpa Built and the "older" grandkiddos slept in the tent.

Big Trees!

One of the highlights of our family reunion was definitely our trip to Calaveras Big Trees.  It was a beautiful day and the kids (and adults) all had a great time!

4 years old!

Another milestone in our family as our little girl turned 4!  We had a "heart" party with 14 guests (all girls, ranging from 3-5), and the guest of honor thought it was the best.  Enjoy some of the pictures!

Easter 2012

We hope you all have a wonderful Easter! Here are some pictures of us from this weekend.

Dying Easter eggs . . .

In our Easter "duds . . ."

Here we all are after church. Not bad for a self-timed picture; except for the fire hydrant! : 0

He's 2!

Well, we've officially entered the world of the "terrible twos" with our son. If you're curious as to why we were crazy enough to let kids play with a piƱata inside, let's just say that Mother Nature intervened and changed our plans for his birthday party. Luckily, there were no casualties!
